Australian and English artists reach listeners around the world

Music is one thing that we all have in common, whether you are a world away or just down the street. Great artists originate from all over the globe, bringing new and exciting sounds to listeners everywhere.
Chase Atlantic is a young, up-and-coming band from Australia, but don’t let their youth fool you. Their songs are skillfully produced, combining masterfully-played instruments with astonishing sound engineering. They have an interesting sound that is a combination of rock, pop and alternative. Chase Atlantic’s tracks build as the album goes on, and it doesn’t hurt that they are extremely catchy. Their lyrics mostly deal with relationships and heartbreak. 5 Seconds of Summer isn’t the only good band to come out of Australia because Chase Atlantic is definitely one to watch.

James Arthur is a musician from almost halfway around the world in the United Kingdom. He is the winner of “The X Factor” from 2012, and his title is rightfully deserved. His music is a combination of rock and R&B, and he combines this with his iconically-soulful voice. He is a masterful guitarist, and his tracks highlight these abilities. Arthur’s lyrics range from the fun and witty topics about a weekend party, to more serious and timely ones, such as cases of domestic abuse. These lyrics demonstrates maturity, and his voice displays his remarkable talents.

Catfish and the Bottlemen is a band which also originates from the United Kingdom. However, they have a completely different sound from their neighbor, Arthur since they are more of a rock band with an alternative spin. On their debut album, “The Balcony,” Catfish and the Bottlemen demonstrated their abilities as musicians, especially with the use of their guitars. Their lyrics mostly focus on relationships, and they are able to capture heartbreak and rejection perfectly. In a way, they are the British rock equivalent to Taylor Swift. It is hard to believe that they have only released one album because their composition and production is so phenomenal.
