Don’t have a date this Valentine’s Day? The NewsGryphs are here to help! We have taken some tips from Leslie Knope of “Parks and Recreation” and decided to acknowledge Galentine’s Day, a holiday for appreciating your friends.

“February 14, Valentine’s Day, is about romance, but February 13, Galentine’s Day, is about celebrating lady friends,” Knope said. “It’s wonderful and should be a national holiday.”
