Meet Kate Winstead and you’re sure to love her hilariously morbid personality. An ardent lover of green tea (but only with two spoons of sugar), Kate dabbles in writing but spends most of her time creating mixed media artwork. Her ideal pet would be a combination of her dog Bennie (formerly known as Jughead) and a hyena, solely because she enjoys their creepy laughs. Kate joined the newspaper staff exclusively for Mr. Adcock, but she is also excited about trying new things and designing art for the newspaper. In her free time, Kate enjoys listening to Mitski and being a secret theater nerd. As productive as she may seem, Kate’s ideal life would be living in a Boston apartment, doing nothing but creating art and “vegging out.” She lives by her motto, “Eat candy, live fast, die young.” Kate is a very artistic addition to The Lodge, and we are excited to have her on staff this year!
