The Conjuring follows the real-life case files of Ed and Lorraine Warren, self-proclaimed demonologists, who are confronted by a malevolent spirit out for blood. The score and brilliant performances from Patrick Wilson and Vera Farmiga make this a new-age classic for horror.

This is a classic horror film with a cult-following soundtrack. Not to mention Jamie Lee Curtis being one of the best final girls in horror history. The Shining

Summary: Redrum. Redrum. One of my all-time favorite movies. This is a psychological masterpiece directed by Stanley Kubrick that will leave you wondering: What did I just watch? However, I would like to take this time to point out the abuse that Shelley Duvall suffered during filming, and that while I love this film, I don’t endorse the problematic behavior during filming. The plot of the Shining is about the Torrance family’s time at the Overlook Hotel and how isolation slowly drives them to the point of insanity.
