The Shining
Summary: Redrum. Redrum. One of my all-time favorite movies. This is a psychological masterpiece directed by Stanley Kubrick that will leave you wondering: What did I just watch? However, I would like to take this time to point out the abuse that Shelley Duvall suffered during filming, and that while I love this film, I don’t endorse the problematic behavior during filming. The plot of the Shining is about the Torrance family’s time at the Overlook Hotel and how isolation slowly drives them to the point of insanity.
