1. If you were a golf club, what would you be?

“I would probably be a putter because the putter, you don’t really think of as much. You think of the driver, but your putter is the most important part, and if that’s not going well, then nothing matters.”

2. What is your weirdest memory of the previous season?

“One time we finished a match, Grace and I were walking to our cars and I was like, ‘Hey Grace, you know what I think I can do but I can’t?’ And she was like, ‘What?’ And I was like, ‘Heel-click.’ So I did [it] and I found out I can. And so now after every match I heel-click.”

3. What are your plans for next year?

“We definitely have to go to state as a team next year. I don’t like being by myself, and I want to win again.”

4. What would you say to the younger generation of Gryphon golfers?

“Have fun. Practice. Appreciate playing for the school because it’s definitely different than if you play golf outside the school. You have a team and people that are there for you and really are rooting for you.”

5. Who’s your favorite golfer?

“Michelle Wie because she’s best friends with Danielle Kang. And, basically, their friendship is just really cute and it reminds me of myself and my best friend Megan.”
