Students honored for academic excellence

Upper-school students were honored today in the library for academic excellence, receiving awards for Honors Roll and Scholars List.
Those who received Honor Roll attained grades of 90-100 in academic classes and no more than two grades in the 80-89 range. Those who received St. George’s Scholar had grades of 90-100 in all academic subjects. Approximately 74 students received Honor Roll and 74 received St. George’s Scholar.
Those honored for making Scholars List received a key chain complete with the words: “St. George’s-We Grit’n Grind.” All students recognized celebrated their efforts during the first trimester of the 2014-15 school year with a certificate and a cookie cake.
