Seniors Jake Epperson and Jack Glosson have teamed up for their Senior Independent Study and are hosting a frisbee golf tournament, Sunday, Nov. 16th, on the Collierville campus.

Both Epperson and Glosson have been hard at work these past few months putting together a Frisbee Golf Tournament for students to participate in at St. George’s. Epperson said that the two of them wanted to utilize the St. George’s campus and “create a new form of recreation” for everyone to have fun with.

This tournament will be in support of junior Adam Cruthirds and his family. All money collected is to be given as a donation to the Cruthirds family. Cruthirds is currently in remission from leukemia after receiving treatment at St. Jude.

“All proceeds will be going to Team Adam and the Cruthirds’ family to help support them during this tough time,” said Glosson, “and honestly it’s just a lot of fun [and] a good time to hang out.”

“Also, great way to procrastinate on the weekend homework,” said Epperson.

Tee time begins at 10 A.M. You can pick five people to be on a team or you can just meet some new people when you arrive. Participation requires $10 per person along with sign up on the Google Doc sent out through email.
