Cole Schirmer
Cole Schirmer will be joining the Savannah State University baseball program next fall.
After playing baseball all four years of high school, he’s excited to continue pitching in college.
Schirmer was given the opportunity to combine sports and service at Savannah State.
“They offered me in-state tuition… because I was a pitcher, and I want to do the military training, so it was almost immediate that I wanted to go there,” Schirmer said.
Schirmer will have the chance to play baseball as well as spend time in the military.
“I’m just very thankful to go there,” Schirmer said. “I’ve always wanted to go play baseball in college.”
