1. How long have you been a part of the winter cheer team?

“I’ve been a part of the team since freshman year, so four years.”

2. How many people are the winter cheer team?

“Twenty. Twenty girls, exactly.”

3. What is your favorite cheer?

“Shoot Shoot.”

4. Is there anything special you do before each game to get ready?

“Not at all. I mean we eat. We put each other’s bows in cause Claire can never put her own bow in.”

5. What is the best part about being on the winter cheer team?

“It’s more of a relaxed environment. It’s somewhere where you can still have fun and actually cheer for a team but not feel the pressure. It’s a sport where you have to be committed to in terms of practices and games, but our coaches are very understandable and flexible. Even though we are standing up for three hours cheering, it’s still fun. Every girl on the team is fun, and we are all friends.”
