Darryl Williams isn’t used to staying in the same place for very long. Before coming to Memphis two years ago, he lived in New Orleans for six years, and Fort Worth, Texas, before that. He has played basketball his whole life and thinks it’s much more competitive in Memphis than it was anywhere else. Despite that, he stays loyal to his New Orleans Pelicans. Maybe it’s finally their year? A man constantly in motion, it’s only fitting that his passion lies in photographing it: Darryl is most excited to learn what makes a good sports photo in his time on staff at The Lodge.
