Five Questions with Will McDaniel

1.How important is hair to lacrosse and how would you describe yours?

“Hair to lacrosse is pretty important. A lot of the players nowadays with the best flow are the best lacrosse players out there. I’d say I have pretty sick flow, as it is pretty luscious. Sometimes, we like to refer to our flow in lacrosse as lettuce.”

2. What is your favorite moment in your lacrosse career?

“Probably, last year in the playoff game when I scored a goal off the face-off against Ensworth. We really didn’t have much momentum. We were down 3-1, and I took the face-off ran down and scored. Looking at the student section go crazy really made me happy.”

3. Who do you look up to most?

“I really look up to Peyton Manning. He’s always been a role model for me.”

4. What are you most excited about for spring break?

“I’m going on a lacrosse trip, so I’m pretty excited to play lacrosse and play some good teams down in Alabama and spend some time away from school.”

5. If you were stranded on a desert island and could only bring one other person and one other item who and what would they be?

“I’d bring Coach Slatery and a philosophy book, so he could teach me a lot about philosophy because I think he knows a lot about that and seems to enjoy talking about that.”
