While not the newest face at The Lodge, Sydney Murray has no less enthusiasm in her second year on staff than when she first began. Outside of class, Sydney is a passionate and determined member of Model United Nations (MUN) and Youth in Government (YIG), soon to be serving as a Justice in the International Court of Justice at this year’s Model United Nations conference. Sydney also enjoys both public speaking and some good old macaroni and cheese, a classic from anyone’s childhood. Sydney’s love for MUN and YIG is only matched by her passion for newsmagazine, where she enjoys expressing herself, bringing people together and keeping everybody in the loop. She also enjoys movies, especially ones made by the comedian and director Jordan Peele, and especially “Get Out.” Strongly driven by community and a good work ethic, Sydney is bringing a refreshed energy to her senior year of high school.
