Halloween meets history
St. George’s students celebrate Halloween with historical costumes
In honor of this past Halloween weekend, the History Club held a costume day where students and teachers could dress as important historical figures on Friday, Oct. 30. Costumes varied from freshman Andrew Joyner’s rendition of his ancestor’s colonial days to junior Regine Miller’s take on Egyptian Queen Nefertiti.
“It’s a good start to an annual tradition,” Dr. Leung, American History teacher and History Club sponsor, said.
