Mia Cutrell, Reporter
Got a moment? Why not stop by and let sophomore Mia Cutrell convince you water isn’t wet and the Earth is a triangle—she’s persuasive enough that she’ll have even the most committed skeptics on her side in a matter of minutes. While she’s new to The Lodge’s staff this year, you may know her from the award winning St. George’s robotics team or her sharp intellect in math class. When you see her work in the robotics arena, the woods or one of our issues, you’ll know it. Mia emulates calm, with an easy smile and kind disposition that brings some peace into a highly chaotic newsroom environment. With two dogs, four cats, two fish and three chickens at home, Mia’s love for animals and nature permeates the way she talks about the mountain hikes she’s taken and her forest-green personality. As one of only two sophomores on staff, Mia is hoping to find more writing opportunities and expand her skills for the years to come before going on to creating an “open category” in the Olympics where anyone can do anything they want.
