If you are ever looking for Mason Merkle, you’ll likely find him in a classroom analyzing international documents and learning about global issues. Mason is a prominent member of the St. George’s Model United Nations (MUN) and Youth in Government (YIG) Club. He is committed to his work and enjoys the opportunity to publicly speak and work in the courtroom. Although this year is Mason’s first year working on The Lodge staff, he is experienced when it comes to writing both fiction and nonfiction. Outside of the classroom, Mason is also a dedicated athlete. Having been a member of the swim team for over six years, he enjoys healthy competition and has a genuine love for the sport. He prefers the mountains over the beach because, after six years of swimming, he has definitely had enough of the water.
