#11-21

#11-21

Here’s how teams 11-21 shook out after Week 14:

11. Miami Dolphins (7-6): In a weird twist, the Dolphins have somehow done enough to earn a top-11 ranking. Thank you, Miami Miracle.

12. Pittsburgh Steelers (7-5-1): The Steelers face-planted with a loss to the Raiders in a game that could have all but secured a division championship for them.

13. Indianapolis Colts (7-6): I can’t say I’m surprised that the Colts topped the Texans, and this further proves that the Colts have what it takes to make the playoffs.

14. Tennessee Titans (7-6): The Titans are only awarded this high of a ranking by virtue of having a winning record – they’re not a particularly competitive football team.

15. Philadelphia Eagles (6-7): The Eagles were competitive with the Cowboys in an exciting overtime game on Sunday, which earns them a spot in the top half of the rankings, but their playoff chances are not good, and Carson Wentz may be sitting out the rest of the year.

16. Minnesota Vikings (6-6-1): After being discussed as a potential future head coach in the offseason, Vikings offensive coordinator John DeFilippo is out of a job, and that sums up where the Vikings are right now – deep trouble.

17. Cleveland Browns (5-7-1): Despite a losing record, the Browns are a good team. They beat the Panthers on Sunday, who, even when they’re struggling as they are right now, are not an easy team to beat. Baker Mayfield is a star.

18. Denver Broncos (6-7): The Broncos missed a big opportunity on Sunday, losing a game to the 49ers that would have put them in a great spot to compete for an AFC Wild Card berth.

19. New York Giants (5-8): The previously awful Giants have rebounded with four wins in their last five games, and Saquon Barkley is verifying that he is indeed the correct choice for offensive rookie of the year.

20. Carolina Panthers (6-7): The Panthers’ five straight losses seem to indicate that they’re more concerned with securing a top pick and probably starting over with a new head coach than continuing to win this season.

21. Tampa Bay Buccaneers (5-8): The Buccaneers started out well in their second matchup with the Saints, the first of which the won in Week 1, but ultimately couldn’t hold on. That’s representative of their season.
