Science National Honor Society

Students eligible for consideration in the Science National Honor Society must be in their junior or senior year, have completed the required lab courses, and enrolled in or completed an AP or elective science. Exceptional sophomore students can be accepted into a chapter when enrolled in AP and/or elective science courses. To be eligible, students must have maintained an unweighted 3.70 grade point average or higher in all science courses. Those students with one advanced placement or elective course must have maintained a weighted 4.40 GPA or higher in that course. Those students with multiple AP or elective courses must have a weighted 4.00 GPA or higher in each of those courses and a weighted combined GPA of at least 4.40 for those courses.
