Freshman Reagan Goodwin, Anna Katheryn Fleenor, Juliana Carpenter, participate in an activity in Intro to Theater Class. The class teaches students who are interested in getting onto a stage and participating in school plays.

Theater

The theater class has been learning about Greek mythology and the background of theater. In this picture, freshman Reagan Goodwin said that she made masks, like they did in ancient Greece, and the class performed a play with everyone playing multiple different characters throughout. Goodwin always looks forward to this class because she is able to be creative and not stress as much as her other classes. “I just think it’s really fun,” Goodwin said, “and it’s not a burden or anything. It’s just one of those fun and easy classes that are nice to have.” Goodwin thinks that because Director of Theater Arts Ms. Karen Dean has been in theater for so long, she is a very creative teacher. She always has something to do in her class, and Goodwin loves that she can be herself. “I like that we can do anything we want,” Goodwin said. “I mean, with some rules, but it’s just fun to be with my friend and do plays.”
