How have sports built you as a person?

“I have played sports since I was six years old, especially here I found myself. I found my confidence. I’ve grown as a leader, as a friend, and now being a team captain of two school sports, I’ve definitely found my confidence through volleyball and tennis.”

What is your main role as a Bleacher Creature?

“We organize a lot of the spirit aspects of the football games; not only the football games, but all sports games. We mainly do the noise makers, the vuvuzelas for the football games. We choose themes. We send out the emails for all of the sports for the week, and every Bleacher Creature has to go to at least one game a week, so there’s always a Bleacher Creature at every single game that are home.”

What do you enjoy most about being a Bleacher Creature?

“I always loved watching sports, but now I have a title in doing it, and I get to represent the athletic department of our school, which is really awesome. I like being able to send out the emails and get everyone really excited for the games and just overall advertise our sports as a school.”
